The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), will close Dunad Avenue from Ali Baba Avenue to Burlington Street starting at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, through 5 a.m. Wednesday,
March 20, weather permitting.
This detour is being established to allow workers to rehabilitate the railroad crossing. During this closure, all traffic will be detoured away from the crossing and directed to follow signs to
alternate local streets. Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Southbound Detour:
Use Ali Baba Avenue and Turn right on Opa-Locka Boulevard
Turn right on Burlington Street
Northbound Detour:
Use Burlington Street and turn left on Opa-Locka Boulevard
Turn left on Ali Baba Avenue
